Reclaimed Timber.

I was asked by a friend whom I studied with at university to make a 'rustic old porthole' to frame a painting for an exhibition she had coming up: https://www.facebook.com/events/828983623830339/

Coincidentally my parents were having some old sheds removed from their garden which had been there since the '70's, I quickly removed the doors and used the timber, as well as they rusty nails and bolts, to replicate a porthole that measured approximately 750mm in diameter.  I had to distress the cut edges but all other weathering is authentic.
