Sunrise over Kessock Bridge, Inverness. I woke one morning to the most amazing sunrise, The sun was a ball of fire in a red sky. I used the sap wood of the Padauk to imply the light was catching it.

Padauk Frames.
When cut padauk is bright orange in colour and the dust has a beautiful fragrance. The colour will darken considerably through exposure resulting in a deep red and black figured heart wood and blond/orange sap wood.
